…and not all glasses are rose colored. I get it. But, as I sit here on a beautiful Fall morning, I keep thinking about the good things in life and not about all the current negative news that is promoted on TV 24/7. Here are some thoughts for when you need that smidge of a nudge.
Focus on the rose and not its thorns.
Feel and smell the next rainfall instead of being upset that it’s raining.
Look at the bigger picture when all you are seeing is the small stuff that is frustrating you.
Be thankful if you have a roof over your head and you have 3 meals a day(even if you only eat 2 like me).
For those who have younger kids, realize(every day) that they are only young for a short while.
You’re not the only one with problems. Be nice to one another because it makes everyone’s day a little better.
And, lastly, something basically unrelated to this blog entry. My daughter taught me a new word today: Smare. It’s when you smile and stare at someone at the same time.
So, if you look around, you’ll always find, see, smell, taste, learn, take in something new EVERY DAY!
What’s your dawn look like?
